From Narrabri, we decided to take the hour-ish drive up to the summit of Mount Kaputar National Park. A fantastic lookout and worth the drive out of town. Majority of the drive out was on a gravel road, but it was in good condition and suitable for a 2wd car. Parking only about a 2-minute walk from the summit.

A great exploration around Heathcote National Park to find a couple of caches. A nice bit of bush bashing along from Woronora River to the top of Tamaroo Ridge and then onto Scouters Mountain.
